Quickly Find The Cheapest Gas Quickly Find the Cheapest Gas
by Matt Keelan
With gasoline prices going through the roof and fluctuating by as much as 29 cents
a gallon within a city, it's more important than ever to quickly find the cheapest gas.
You can't always predict when you'll need to fill up, but with just a little planning
and an Internet connection (or a smart phone) you can save hundreds of dollars.
For instance, if you fill up your 20-gallon tank once a week at $4.00 a gallon,
you'll spend $4,160 in a year. (My apologies if you've never calculated that before!)
But, if you spent only $3.71 per gallon, you would save over $300.
So, how do you find the cheapest gas? Park your browser at
www.GasBuddy.com! Here you can find the national and state averages for a gallon of gasoline as
well as the price at gas stations right in your neighborhood! Use the search
feature to enter your city and state (or zip code) and GasBuddy will provide a
list of local stations sorted by the price of their gas. It will even tell you
the day and time each price was verified.
